Solana Pay on WordPress: Accept SOL & USDC Without a Plugin

The WooCommerce Solana Pay plugins have come and gone, and many are unmaintained. For digital products, memberships or tips you don't need a plugin. A Custom HTML block and a small verification endpoint are enough.

Steps

  1. Deploy the verification Worker on Cloudflare's free tier. It creates order references and confirms payments.
  2. In WordPress, add a Custom HTML block to your product page.
  3. Paste the checkout snippet: a button, a QR container, and a script that calls /api/order and polls /api/verify.
  4. Set your wallet address and price in the Worker, and keep your private key out of the code.
  5. Test with a small real payment.

Why not a plugin?

Plugins add attack surface and break on updates, and some route funds through third parties. A Solana Pay link pays your wallet directly, and the verification code is about 60 lines you can read.

WooCommerce?

For physical-goods stores with carts, use the Worker as a payment step: create the order in WooCommerce, show the QR code on the thank-you page, and mark the order paid with a webhook when it's verified.

Skip the setup. The Solana Pay Drop-In Checkout Kit gives you the checkout page, the verifying Worker, a balance script and a full guide for 7 USDC. It's the same checkout this site runs on.
